The origins of Ball Valves. Ball valve (ball valve) was invented in the 1950s. With the rapid development of science and technology the production technology and product structures have been improved continuously since then.
In a short period of 40 years ball valve has rapidly developed into a major valve. In the developed countries the demand for ball valves is increasing year by year.
In China, ball valve is widely used in petroleum refining, long-distance pipeline, chemical industry, paper making, pharmaceutical, water conservancy, power, municipal, steel and other industries.
It plays an important role for the national economy. It has the action of 90 degrees rotation, the plug body is a sphere, and has a circular through hole or channel through its axis.
Ball valve is mainly used in pipelines to cut off, distribute and change the flow direction of medium.
It can be closed tightly only through a 90 degree rotation and small rotating torque. Ball valve is the most suitable for switch and shut-off valve, V-type ball valve.
Besides the pipe parameters, the electric valve should pay special attention to the environmental conditions.
Because the electric device in the electric valve is considered to be electromechanical equipment, its use state is greatly affected by its use environment.
1. Wear resistant: Because the valve core of the hard seal ball valve is alloy steel spray welding, and the sealing ring is alloy steel surfacing, the hard seal ball valve will not produce too much wear when it is opened and closed（its hardness coefficient is 65-70)
2. Good sealing performance: Since the seal of the hard seal ball valve is manually grounded, it can only be used until the valve core and seal ring are completely consistent. Its sealing performance is therefore very reliable.
3. Light switch: The bottom of the seal ring of the hard seal ball valve is tightly held with the valve core by a spring. This makes the switch very light when the external force exceeds the preload of the spring.
4. Long service life: It has been widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, power generation, paper making, atomic energy, aviation, rocket and other departments, as well as people’s daily lives.
